Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

i will be your demise

The cold onset of winter attempted to set its fangs against flesh but it didn’t bother her anymore. Her mind unable to roam to the days where she would share a den instead she grew frustrated with the prospects soon rejecting the idea altogether. Long limbs strode forward the ice waters of the river would burn as she lapped it and perhaps bring some sense of clarity, yet somewhere deep inside she knew better. Sekhmet knew the only way to sooth her soul is to rip others away take them as her own and destroyed them. Her hollow eyes followed the shadowy figure always close in step with this entity that kept her clarity that encouraged her with promises to bring wrath and anguish to others and perhaps that is what kept her eased; collected outside enough to be able to hide the beast that lies just beneath the surface.

Void eyes lifted the form of another becoming clear, it was a figure of familiarity and yet she cared little. She listened in silence the shadowy creature glancing back at her briefly as she studied the wolf before nodding her head to the figure before striding to the water's edge issuing a deep growl as she pushed past to the familiar wolf before plunging her paws into the water and muzzle following. She didn’t rush but lost her desire to keep drinking before drawing away from the familiar wolf before turning to look at the creature. “Talking to yourself. Again. Why?” Her tones were subtle growls as she tried to gather her thoughts and pace through all the events that happened always keeping the creature and their surrounding in mind as not to get taken by surprise.

Her body shifted silently her head dipping slightly to cover her throat as it had grown to be her second nature. She was subtly eyeing everything around her, perhaps this wouldn’t be a wolf she would try and take but the shadowy figure had drawn her to this place so perhaps blood would be in the air sooner than she could anticipate. She waited in silence simply looking to the wolf for a reply disinterested into offering much more conversation at the moment. Still, her desires couldn’t be sated for long and perhaps it no longer could be. Soon she would find what was needed but for now, she had a war to wage even if it wasn’t going to occur in this instant.
