Inara hesitated in an attempt to stand still as he approached, the male didn’t seem to with her any harm. She tried to relax as she listened to his words growing more comfortable as he used her name. As he gave her approval to eat she dipped her muzzle in eating much slower than she would have on her own, still ready to move away should she change his mind. Mulling over his words they weren’t threatening but welcoming. Slowly she nudged the remainder of the goat towards the male leaving a good remainder of the meat intact for him her hunger satisfied enough to silence her stomachs’ growling before drawing herself back ever so slightly.
Gold and violet eyes peered into his warm golden eyes allowing herself to relax a bit more in his presence before speaking. “You would want me to stay here?” her words came out rather slow and more of bewilderment rather than bluntness. “I am not really of much use I am afraid. I don’t have many skills and I can’t really take on large prey.” Her ears fell slightly at her own words realizing she was less like a wolf and more like a lynx kit. A deep sigh escaped her maw never really finding the strength to meet his eyes right yet and perhaps he wouldn’t like to. She had been saved but never a savior she wasn’t weak but she wasn’t strong either. Perhaps it was this reason her mother had left but she would never know for certain.
She lifted her muzzle slightly but kept her gaze averted, “I have never seen the mountain pack, I am not certain how to live here. Could you teach me about this place? I don’t have many skills but perhaps I could be helpful?” Her question broke the air and silence fell once more. She wondered what the alpha of the seaside would think and say but perhaps it didn’t matter. Inara was one wolf when they had many perhaps she wasn’t missed at all at any rate she could learn more of this place, a new place she hadn’t had the chance to explore. Maybe, she even could gain a new friend sadly only time would tell as she couldn’t hope to tell the future.
