Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She seemed almost surprised that he wouldn't hesitate to tell her what he meant but he was never planning on keeping his growing feelings for his best friend a secret. What would be the point of it? Especially since they had both found their imprints now and they would both forever be feeling that pull. He didn't want to risk losing her like that. He couldn't. He couldn't quite read her expression once he told her how he felt but he picked up enough that it was a good reaction, like maybe she was feeling something like that too. That could only be a good thing in his opinion. All at once, she got up, leaving her bone and he raised a brow at her in puzzlement as she started to circle him. He was never quite sure what she was up to. She was very unpredictable most times. As she circled, he could feel her gaze sweeping over him and his skin tingled as if she were touching him. He felt like he was on fire, like he could combust at any moment. He wanted to go to her, to touch her, to be with her, but he held back, fighting his urges.

And then she was there, pressing again him and he heard himself sigh in contentment at last as her fur pressed against his. It felt right and oh so good. She ran her cheek against his shoulder and he leaned into her touch, a smile tugging at his lips. His smile turned more into a smirk though at her words as he chuckled lightly.

"Well we're not puppies anymore. That's a start."

His eyes gleamed playfully as she jumped ahead, not willing just yet to lose her touch so he moved with her. As she glanced back and asked if he'd stay with her, he raised a brow and grinned boyishly.

"You don't even need to ask, Inanna. I'm not leaving till you throw me out. I'm a parasite like that."

Lashing his own tail, he leaped after her rubbed himself along her side, washing her in his scent as he looked around. He glanced back toward the entrance, his lips twitching thoughtfully.

"Is it just as tricky to get back out as it is to get in?"
