Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The majority of our life had been a power struggle although I had soon found that I enjoyed the middle ground with my brothers often growing jealous of one another for my attention. It hadn't occurred to me that they should all be content together and sometimes I stoked the fight when I grew bored and pouty, pitting brother against brother until it stirred my own bloodlust and I joined in. Negan didn't go easy on me when I did and each painful bite would drive me into a frothing frenzy until I would get back at him. Apophis was given equal attention with my vicious side but both boys seemed keen on my attentions regardless of how they got it. If they made me mad then I would show preference to the other in a bid to shove it in their face.

Mother rarely stopped our struggles. I caught her watching often though and when I had the chance I would puff up proudly, flashing my canines and holding my own. There is little vanity in me. I was under the stark impression I wasn't a vision after having seen myself in the still cast off ponds from the river, for my brothers were mostly black and I stuck out like a sore thumb. I rather thought my two brothers were by far the prettier of us - not that I would ever tell them that unless I was being coy and stroking their egos to get what I wanted. As I grew taller and filled out I realized I needed to be more clever at times so as not to push the boys too far away lest they turn on me, although Negan was a bit more possessive than Apophis.

Having roused myself from a sound nap I had nudged Apophis awake with a wicked smile, urging him to come with me as I traversed through the sandy beach in search of my missing sibling. I can see him lounging on his back almost comically and get the idea of pushing him off just to rouse some fire from him but pout prettily when he flips over, leveling a pleased look at me and a cold greeting to our brother. My mouth turns sly, the tension already climbing as I hum in my throats when he nuzzles me, closing my eyes and basking in the attention. "We thought you could use company," I said congenially although by now I'm sure Negan could tell I was itching for something to take the edge of my immediate boredom.

With a swing of my head I glance at Apophis, noting the frost between my brothers. "I have an idea, brothers!" I bite back a grin as I pad towards the frothing water, noting a crab standing poised in defense. Two toned eyes flip back to the boys, my handsome brothers, in challenge. "I challenge you both. The first two to get the most crabs by the time the sun reaches that point on the cliff wins..." now I pause in thought. "A free dinner hunted by the loser." Because I was 90 percent certain I would either win or be in the middle - my loving brothers would NEVER leave me out.
