Her ideas for winter had not worked out at all. The gypsies had been left out in the cold. However, at least this winter wasn’t as harsh as last year. Plus, they all knew where to find her if they needed help. Instead she took her time to try and avoid any males in the area that appeared, unable to control their eyes. If any of them looked sane, they were welcome to join her wandering about. Amber wasn’t going to go that much out of her way to scare them off, like some females might. Speaking of females, it wasn’t surprising to see males out and about, but the lack of females was a little confusing. Maybe they had already selected their mates and were hiding about in the pack lands now.

It really didn’t matter to her, being a gyspy, she cared not for pack wolves. Taika wasn’t a pack wolf, but it was understandable the female had fled to a pack in order to keep her pups safe from harm. Questionable, however, how mate felt about her imprint. One of her children appeared to be a pack wolf at heart, not following her mother out. But Masque. She was a gyspy, through and through. Hopefully, as soon as they were grown, Taika went back to her wanderings, and brought a new face out to the meetings.

Meetings. They should probably have one soon, considering no one at all had appeared at the summer meeting. A disappointment, but there were realities to it. They could be pack wolves now, busy, or even dead. Though, dead was the worst idea. It was about around times like these that someone should really give Amber something else to think about.
