Breeding

Where the magic happens...
Wanting your own adorable hoard of fluffy puppies? You’ve come to the right place!
In winter, parents post their stats (alongside any other relevant stats such as grandparents etc.) in the below format. Staff then roll dice to determine if you conceive. If you do (congratulations!), Staff will then roll some more dive and perform some magic in order to produce your puppy stats.
You can view how we do that magic right here!

Certain prizes, such as ‘Pick Your Own Litter Size’ and ‘Custom Stats’ must be used before Stats are posed, whereas ‘+1 Puppy’ can be used after. If in doubt, check with Staff!

Once Stats have been posted, players may post in response claiming and naming puppies. Once spring begins, the mother’s player must reply to the thread with a link to their ‘birthing post’ on the appropriate date unless an extension has been requested.

Parent Stats
* post for both father/mother
Age:
Height / Weight:
Eye Color:
Body / Fur Type: (be detailed! long, short, thick, whispy, scruffy fur; brawny, willowy, wide set ears, a tail that’s a little crooked – everything helps!)
Fur Colour: (be specific with markings, and include references if you want!)
Other Stats (Optional): (for example, parents and grandparents; siblings; anything ‘cultural’ such as special markings in their bloodline etc)

** We include the option of grandparent / sibling / etc stats in order to help produce unique puppies even if a pair are plainer coloured. For example, two pure white parents don’t leave much room for exploration but with additional family stats, we can bring in new traits!

Pup 1
Female
Healthy

Eye color- The majority of the eye is a bright pink. A bright green radiates from the pupil. There are molten gold streaks found radiating lightly from the pupil.

Fur color- Due to sharing relatives, this girl actually ends up having a bright white base coat. A light blue-grey covers the top half of her face, ears, top of neck down the shoulder, back, top of hips, covering the tail. A charcoal grey darkens over the top of her muzzle, eyes, and forehead meet, extending over the top of the head, lightly appearing over the neck, but darkening again where the neck meets the body/shoulders. It completely covers the top of the shoulders but then fades out to the blue-grey again. The charcoal grey continues over the very top of the back, reaching the tail where the charcoal grey darkens near the base of the tail and tip of the tail, but the tail is basically a mixture of the blue-grey and charcoal grey all streaked together. White covers the inside of her ears, under her eyes as eyeliner, and two spots over her eyes that has hairs going out towards the direction of the cheeks, almost giving her 'human' like eyesbrows. Her nose and paw pads are liver. Her lips will be splotched liver and black. Reference Here

Fur type- Thick and shaggy like daddy, will always have a messy look to it. The tail will be long and bushy, and unfortunately she will be rather heavily furred even though summer, which means it will not be the most pleasant of seasons for her.

Height/Weight- 31 inches, 120 pounds.

Body type- She takes a lot of grandma Lurid, with delicate features that are enhanced by a bit more muscle from dad. She will be thin, but decently muscled. The added weight will be on her shoulders and hips, as well as a nicely sized chest. Her fur does give her a heavier looking appearance than she really is though. Her legs will be long, and her visage will have an innocent look with large eyes that are rather expressive.

Mother's Health- 5/10. Of course, she will remain infertile, as that will never change. However, it was a miracle this pup even happened. Even though it is one pup, it will not be an easy birth. Since your body got to focus on one pup, the puppy is actually rather large at birth. Due to previous complications, the labor will be long and arduous. There will be no rest and constant pain. The pup will have a hard time exiting the birth canal , and there will be long, agonizing moments as the puppy makes it way into the world. It will be very difficult, try not to pass out while giving birth! You will be rather tired after for a few days, but as long as you stay awake through the pain, you should be fine by the end of the season.
