Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Myrhh
Male : Heart Given to None/Soul Seeped to Vasily : 3 years

Myrhh blinked in confusion, his heart skipping odd beats in his chest. Vasily determined she would walk with him and the male felt a strange flicker. By her assertion she had not outright rejected him, but she had not wholly welcomed him and their fateful binding. He felt a warmth of comfort at this. His soul would not be crushed by her hatred or disappointment, and she would forever be able to be her own and wild self with his protection. He knew, at least with him, she would never be in danger of finding a cruel soul-bond. With each movement she made, he tried to follow with his eyes. Instead of the keen sense following her, his head moved instead, almost as if his own movements could make him see her’s better. The facial expressions were lost on him, but the shadowed and blurry movements of her head and body still make it through the dark haze.

He did smile at her name, keeping it close to himself. Brute or beast or not, he would hold her name and her fate, and protect it the best he could. Soft ears flicked back at her words, they gave voice to all of his thoughts when he had first been blinded. A weakness where he had once been strong. His sight had been an asset he had lost in his attempt to prove himself to his family and his pack. Upon his return he had something else entirely to prove. Time and hard work were slowly coming to pay off. Under the watchful trainings of Meryl, Mryhh had adopted new and different strengths. It had been hard in the beginning, fighting infection and despair, but he had made great strides. At least in the eyes of some. However, he could not deny the time he had been so consumed that he could not comprehend a way out. She brushed against him, turning him towards Diveen. With the movement he turned even bolder away from the darkness that had enveloped him. He walked quietly beside her, comfortable though not outwardly confident or proud. Simply being. He thought about her words and internalized them. His body was not one for traditional strength. It never had been and it never would be. But his other skills were growing and assets he had never considered before. Myrhh was still young and still learning or relearning about the world around him. He could feel that Vasily was even younger, possibly having not had to learn the differences of life. That being said, aside from the obvious, Myrhh thought himself as reasonably able-bodied and growing of mind. He could be what she needed and wanted him to be. Thank you. He said at last. For showing me which way to go. Now that he was pointed in the right direction, he kept pace with her. There was no need to fall back once he was on the right trail. Ears and nose worked diligently to pick up the clues around him to what was happening while his pads measured the feeling of the earth beneath him to adjust his step. Once again, his head seemed to be swinging and moving more to create the movements he could pick up on. ‘I will not have my Imprint being weak.’ The words stuck with him and he breathed out into the moist air. You will, inevitably, have others who will be stronger by your side. Myrhh would never be a fighter. It simply was not in his cards.
