Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

But a whisper on my wings

She did not know the details of the struggles the friend from puphood went through over the years. Butterfly was ignorant of most things that occurred in Moladion. It would take time for her to learn all of what had happened to Dany since she left. It was years of history, but in the eyes of the large black female, she still saw a strong female before her. Was that not a result of her trails getting to this point, where she now stands among fresh water and in health?

Moladian was quite different from her stay in the tundra, although she saw many things over many years. The tundra was her home for quite a while, but the recent years were not kind to it. It told her to leave and find her roots once more. She did hope to return to the cold world, but she needed to spend at least a few season back in Moladion to see what she had been missing.

Apparently much was missed, and there was not a bright face upon Dany as she asked about her family. She was blunt as Butterfly listened, blinking her golden eyes. Her mother and brother had wandered on their own. She sighed slightly, but it was not a bad sigh. They must be wanderers too. She knew the story of her mother, and how she came to Moladion following a butterfly- her namesake, and Butterfly would not be surprised if she left all the same. Leo though? He was not of blood relation, but adopted by that of RAINBOW. Dany had not seen Leo in seven years, and Buttefly could then only nod at her response. Dany informed her of her nephews and niece. Buttefly's dark tail rose into a large wag.

"To give life, most previous gift. Leonidus, may be adrift, but behind he left, much of himself," she says with another nod. The woman of black, threaded with silver here and there with her white touched visage, then moved to touch shoulder to shoulder with Dany with her offer to visit the mountain once more. Her touch was gentle and kind, and her smile was bright upon her darkest of lips.

"To see them, would be an honor. Leader of mountains, take me forth, if you will, less you plans it would kill?" she questions with a slight tilting of her head, her golden tan eyes blinking as she awaits her answer.
