She seems somewhat irritated at his approach, and perhaps he was being a bit risky. Normally, he would not be so blunt in his approach. He was usually approached, or simply having to teach some dumb girls have to not get themselves killed. Yet this did not appear to be a dumb girl. She had her wits about her, and she was alert. This only drew him in further. It seemed to attract him in.
Yet her words only cause his eyes of blue with black flecks to narrow slightly, observing her eye roll after. It was not a un-typical response to him. Problem is, he didn't know what this...party word is. He often found himself not knowing the words that others use. His mother was hardly sane when he was born, and she certainly never spoke of parties. He also didn't socialize much either, spending much time alone with that of death. The death of his kills that he consumed and formed into his own muscles and meat. He knew the thrill of the hunt and the fight for survival...and perhaps he was learning something else right now, but he couldn't quite understand what.
"What is this party you speak of?" he asks bluntly. He was never afraid to ask what the hell others were talking about. No, he wasn't stupid even if others thought him to be because of not knowing things, but how else is he supposed to understand these people if he never asks? Her movements then indicate that he is invited closer out of the cold...which is indeed the reason he was coming this way anyway. He looks up at the sky touched with the greyness of clouds. He thought perhaps it would only get colder as the night approached.
"Uh, yeah, I like not freezing," he says with his gruff voice. He pushes forth now to the mouth of the cave, allowing his eyes to adjust before putting his whole form in. He didn't cuddle up next to her or anything and gave her what space he could.
"You know, I saw a whole deer frozen once while it was still standing," he said with his eyes moving back towards the outside world, wondering how one can battle such coldness- as it certainly was an enemy one could not defeat with teeth like he was used to. He had not encountered any females at winter before, and thus her scent at this moment gave him chills down his spine. He did not understand why he found her so alluring right now. Most females he encountered were just down right irritating most the time, but even her initial unfriendly tone didn't phase him like it normally would. Segin certain does not mind a shouting match...but right now? No, he finds he does not want to shout right now, instead moving his eyes over to the woman in the cave. |
