I stare at him then, watching his every move, looking ever so passive, non threatening. I don’t know what to think of him, he’s odd, but not bad. I relax slightly as he does, but I don’t know why. Perhaps it’s just because I don’t since any ill intent coming from him that I do so. Though I am still curious to what he is doing here. I see him consider my question and I allow my blue and red eyes to continue to sit on the older male. Honestly I never heard of my mother having an imprint, or his name, so I had no idea of this male’s connection to my family. It was why I asked watching as he considers what to say to me, I wonder if he needs to think of a lie or something to me, but he replies and I am surprised.

He feels connected? I am almost taken aback by the answer. They are connected to a wolf another wolf, special to him? I don’t know him at all, maybe if Starfall showed up I would understand but what was he to my family? Was he special to my family at all? Or just he thought he was? I didn’t reply, I was trying to think of what to say, what he meant. I was straining my brain to remember something, anything of him, but there was nothing. Nothing I could remember at least. He lived in Taviora right? Not Iromar? Though then he says something more. The soft ‘and’ reinserting this current conversation into my mind. The dead are not always safe from the living? I understood what he meant. After all I knew my grandmother was not loved by all, and it was my worry when he first appeared too. It further confirms in my mind, despite all the holes in what he’s saying that, at the very least, I don’t think he’s here to defile my grandmother’s grave, or Tobias for that matter.

I did understand that bit, I didn’t understand the first. I wanted to know more ”No one is touching this grave while I live here.” My voice becomes venomous, perhaps there is a bit of grandmother in me, but I have no idea how to fight. I wasn’t going to let anyone tamper with them though, ”But, I don't know you, I know all my family. Why do you feel connected to them? I’m sorry it’s just, I know my family doesn’t always have the best reputation. I know you aren’t here for anything bad, but I just want to understand.” I say really trying hard to be as calm as I can, really it didn’t dawn on me that my mother ever had an imprint. I don’t think he’s bad though, but I still stand over their den, their graves my eyes wandering to the stones at the base. Them… I wonder if he means them? ”Or you mean for the stones meant to pay respects to Aithne, Praetor, Rhae and Iblis?” I say perhaps that made more since… I didn’t know anything about their families. Perhaps he meant them all along and part of me felt bad for assuming otherwise.

Their bodies aren’t here though. These are just memorials, with the blood of their kin smeared on the stones. Rhae and Iblis I know for sure are buried in Taviora, Aithne and Praetor though I have no idea where they were laid to rest. Maybe they were here too for all I knew. Still I stand waiting for his answers, I feel bad for interrogating him, but I want to know.
