Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Oliza

female - six - heartless - joey's long lost wanderer

She’d been taught when she was younger about imprints, and all that good stuff. Momma and ‘dad’ hadn’t been, that was a situation that she didn’t like to think of, but her grandparents had been imprints. Rainbow and Gabriel. Oliza remembered tales of them, that her mother had told years before. But she hadn’t ever planned on looking for hers. Why, because she felt as if putting all your trust on someone you were ‘fated’ to be with was a little foolish. She didn’t think she’d be able to put that kind of trust in anyone. Not likely, at least.

But Oliza found herself wandering. Her scars hurt, her throat was healing more, and the smaller fish that the river provided were easier to eat, but she was still a little leaner than she should be. But then again, it was winter, and that meant most of the mammals and fish were off doing migratory things. The smaller fish were what she preyed on, the things too minuscule to make it out of the currents. She sighed as she wandered along the rivers edge.

It was then that she heard that call echo out through the field. She paused, her head tilting. Maybe making a few new friends would do her some good, right? She was so lonely, it felt as if she was wandering without a purpose and she was dying to meet a few people, even if it was just for today.

Her lithe frame twisted around the trees as she walked towards the sound. She felt her nerves begin to prickle, and she was becoming nervous. What the heck!? She had never been nervous before in her life, but it seemed this was the time to be nervous. Why? She had no idea to be honest. She drew closer to the group that was gathering, her eyes looking over everyone, part of her hoping she wasn’t the oldest here, but knowing that she had been gone for a while, she wondered if any of these were related to her in anyway. She highly doubted it but you never know.
