Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

living like we're renegades

long live the pioneers, rebels and mutineers

Perhaps it was a little mean of her to scare her best friend this way, but the prankster in her simply couldn’t resist such a juicy opportunity and ultimately she knew he would find it amusing… in a few months or so at least. She had to fight back a laugh as she slunk back up to the entrance of the cave, already picturing the look on Rhaegal’s face as she grumbled and scraped her dull claws against the hard walls. What she had failed to expect was that her friend would come barreling out from the darkness like a bat out of hell and that she was directly in his path. She had almost no time to think about this as she heard him shout her name, something she would come to dwell on later, and he appeared from the shadows.

They collided hard and she let out a loud “OOF!” as they went sprawling though she quickly replaced it with a fit of laughter as they landed in a pile for the second time today. Her bright eyes found his face and her laughter cut off momentarily as she saw the last vestiges of terror being replaced with sheepish indignation and he chided her and nosed her cheek. She leaned into the touch and licked his cheek in apology, he had seemed to like that before after all, then proceeded to disentangle herself so she stood beside him once more. “Sorry, I couldn’t resist!” she explained guiltily, bumping his shoulder as she returned his grin and followed him back into the noon-day sun.

For a moment she paused at the entrance, letting her eyes adjust back to the light which had temporarily blinded her and her smile widened as Rhaegal came back into view. She couldn’t help but reminisce on how concerned for her he had been, not for himself but her. He had called out her name in fear, it is something that will stick with her the rest of her life and she realized in that moment she would have done the same for him. She leaps ahead up onto a wide rock that could easily hold the two of them, and then bows down to look into his green red-rimmed eyes rather seriously holding his gaze for a moment. She then proceeded to flop down and flip onto her back so that he now appeared to be hanging from the ceiling of the world. “Do you ever think about the future?” It was something she had been thinking more and more about, she couldn’t imagine one where he didn’t exist and she wondered if his thoughts might mirror her own.
