It was pretty amusing to watch Belhara with another pup. The little female actually had the balls to glare at her when she arrived and Belhara was glaring back like it was the natural thing to do. It was all he could not to laugh out loud watching them. She asked the girl's name and he raised a brow, wondering if the young female would bother to answer. She looked like she had quite the attitude. Of course he noticed the quick wag to Behara's tail when she saw him. His eyes lit up at the sight of her and to know that she looked forward to seeing him again so soon after their cavern rendevous. He always knew she had a thing for him. Then he noticed her gaze looking behind him so he did too only to see his new shadow sticking to him like glue. He rolled his eyes. Of course the little pipsqueak could like him when it came to stuff like food and going somewhere but any time he moved wrong, the little booger would either growl at him or try to bite him. No manners....and this coming from a cannibal.

At least his words could still get a reaction out of her, his brows waggling at her teasingly as she rolled her eyes. He snorted when she asked how she could forget about him.

"Easy, doll. You just can't. I'm already hardwired into your hormones."

He gave her a playful wink before she mentioned the pup and asked if he'd been caring for him. He glanced back at the pup, scowling thoughtfully before he shrugged.

"Yeah, sure, you could say that. I've fed him some gator and stuff while trying to interview him about his parents. I'm just good at everything, I guess."

He gave her that same lazy smirk, his eyes twinkling with mischief. He did so love to tease her. She said something about marrow being good for the teeth and he snorted, his brows furrowing.

"Sure for chewing on, I guess, but not for nourishment. I need to get him on a more rich diet if you know what I'm talking about. I think he'll be a fan of red meat in no time."

He grinned, sure that she knew just what kind of meat he was talking about. He was being fed wolf meat from a young age himself. His parents chewed it up for him at first then they were bringing him whole legs before he knew it. By the time he was 2, his father Eric was taking him hunting and showing him how to kill his own kind. If he was going to keep taking care of the pup then he would learn the same way. Why not? It should be trending by now. Then she said that they should call him Bone Skull and he looked again at the pup then snorted.

"I was thinking of calling him something cooler....like Rambo or something but sure, why not. Go ahead and name the pup I'VE been taking care of. Such a female thing to do."

He was actually pouting but he wasn't about to show it too much. Then she started asking the pups what they wanted to learn today. Stars and healing? How boring can you get? He could have the pup learning basic sparring moves in a week so why did she get to pick the lessons? Not fair. Just not fair. He scowled but his attention was caught by the female pup who decided to give her name. Kahina. Interesting name. He'd never heard it before so at least it was original. Better than Bone Skull anyway. He rolled his eyes at the thought of the name again. Women. He noted the reaction of Kahina when him and Bone Skull approached but he didn't know if she was baring her teeth at him or the pup. Did they know each other? Did she just not like other pups or something? Geez, what was up with bossy females today? If this kept up, he would just take Bone Skull or whatever it was she wanted to call him on a field trip somewhere away from all females. That sounded infinitely more fun than this so far. Stars and healing, geez.

One ear flicked back as he watched Kahina then turned his gaze to Bone Skull, wondering if he saw. How would he react to her? Hopefully he would at least bare his teeth like he did to Cuirass all those time. Stand up and be a man. Don't take crap from no one, especially a girl. Then she said another name, Bonehead. That was even worse than Bone Skull. Who came up with these lousy names? He wrinkled his nose at it, listening as she said Malleah called him Bone Head. He glanced back down at the male pup, his brows furrowed as if say "don't worry, little buddy. I've got your back." Then he looked back at Kahina.

"Well Malleah's not here anymore so Bone Skull it is."

There, that should show her. He straightened up as if to show her that he was an adult and much bigger than her and what he said, goes. He even gave his little shadow a secretive wink. That's right, protecting the ego one step at a time. Maybe next he'd just starting calling the boy Rambo behind Belhara's back and when it was all he would come to, she'd HAVE to call him that. THAT would serve her right. Kahina was looking at Belhara again and this time she seemed suspicious as she said stars. She looked like she thought it was a trap or something. He didn't blame her. Who in their right mind would want to know about stars anyway? He was at least proud that Boneskull had growled back at Kahina when he saw her. His head lifted and his eyes brightened and he even whispered under his breath.

"Good boy."

That was how you do it. He didn't notice the pup reacting each time they spoke of his name but when Kahina said Bone Head, the pup jumped into action, growling and leaping toward her. Cuirass was secretly proud of him for defending his own honor but at the same time, he knew Belhara would probably not like him jumping on Kahina so he stood and put down his paw in between the two pups to keep them separated.

"Alright, Cujo. You made your point."

He would give him a little smirk of approval when he thought Kahina or Belhara wasn't looking. After Kahina says she wants to learn about the stars in a not-too-convincing way, Boneskull merely repeated his name, but something in his face looked off. Cuirass scowled thoughtfully and laid down so he could stare into the pup's face. He reached out a paw to poke the pup's chest gently.

"Hey, you okay?"
