And the prey she was.
Judith is a lithe wolf, and despite living her life thus far being pampered and treated as if her gender gave her a handicap, she could move. The paths ramified through the forest, and she followed her nose at each step towards the sea. Elohim proved a fair predator, though, as she finds herself quickly out of breath, letting herself be guided by his movements. She still kept inches ahead, barely, but if he were to pounce he could easily take her down. This didn't bother her pride, rather inspired her to push forward, and keep her tired legs moving.
Her feet touch sand before they even exit the woods fully, and the sudden shift in the terrain causes her to stumble. Despite regaining her footing easily, it brings her even closer to Elohim's teeth, and unaware as she is of his intentions, it was entirely likely that Elohim would then overshoot his own attack. Before she is able to process her feet go out from under her, front legs frozen and back feet thrown out to the side. She stumbles and rolls, lashing out at black legs without intent to harm. She would not give up without a fight, as unlikely as it was for her to win, he would have to pin her to the sand!
