Nari.
A part of her had always wondered who her imprint would one day turn out to be, more in the intellectual sense than some distorted hope for romance. Until now she had mused what it would feel like to share a piece of herself with another, what kind of connection they might have, and who he might be. Truth be told she had hoped it would be someone like him. Strong, able bodied, not some weak simpering fool that would do little more than annoy her. At the end of the day she admitted he could have been a lot worse and she perhaps just a tick past neutral going towards pleased with the developing situation.
He looks almost relieved at being correct and for a moment she wished she had shaken her head no in regards to being mute just to see the look on his face, but the moment had passed. She watched closely as he seemed to struggle with what to say next before finally launching into a bit of his backstory. She was half considering how she would be able to stop him if he started rambling as he spoke though as he kept on she found herself more interested in his story. There was a twinge of sadness that hit her, much to her surprise, that she could only associate to the bond they now shared. He missed his family which she supposed were she suddenly separated from her children she could feel the same way. She offers him the tilt of her head and shrugging of her shoulders in sympathy in the pause following how his hopes weren’t high in favor of finding them, see she had some empathy.
When he asked about her family she was a bit relieved, some tended to try and pepper her with questions, ramifying into this subject or that which made answering difficult. One question followed by one answer was the easiest way and she wondered if he had experience dealing with her sort of debility before. She nodded slowly, pointing her nose back toward the south where the sea-pack dwelled. Looking back to him she motioned with her paw, holding it a foot or so off the ground and motioning one the two for the two pups who remained there. Her long limb extended toward him then paw up questioning if he had understood before turning it over and pointing at his chest in question of how many children he had.
