His mouth quirked upwards in a smile when Dexter remarked on Latin- it was a commonly spoken tongue in Moladion, not gibberish to some, but the sentiment amused him nonetheless. There had never been a reason for him to learn the language of the Aztecs, despite Taviora being his home, and learning Latin had been difficult enough even with its similarities to the common tongue. Perhaps one day he would take it upon himself to learn, if only for the sake of knowing it, but today was not that day. His mind was already turning over what he would say to Samia, how he would ask her of these things. Alistair was unsure of her loyalty to Eden, to Glorall and the wolves that resided within it. Natu and Fenrir had lived there, but they had died here, among the towering trees.
Alistair glanced at his companion curiously when he mentioned Zeltzin. He had seen her pups scampering about, had heard of the death of Moteuh, and knew vaguely of her relations within the pack but he had never picked up on the fact that she was involved with Eden. "I do not know Zeltzin well, so I cannot make a better call than you can. It would be worth it, I think, had he ever said anything to her. Otherwise, I doubt either of us want to complicate the issue further..." His tones were musing, contemplative.
Either way, he had some of his own work to do. "I need to think before I visit my sister. Say we return to discuss our findings closer to the turn of the season." Alistair cocked his head slightly, indicating the question but doubting that there would be much wrong with his suggestion. "I look forward to working with you, Dexter." His tones were as warm as he could make them, despite his relative inability to show anything other than stoicism, he was truly pleased with this new partner of sorts he had been assigned. Should the other male take no issue with his suggestion of reconvening a bit further into the future, he would finalize his goodbye with a nod, and trot back towards his den. Hopefully Dexter would remember not to call for him, next time.
