Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Don't Kill, and Don't Be Killed...

He had no idea his brother had been near, been watching. Out of everyone though he didn’t think Shem would be the one to rat him out or say that maybe he had been hunting a little too much. Still though this situation was sorta… embarrassing. He could let go of the vole and probably figure his way out if he had a moment. He was still trying to figure out what he was, his part to play. He had a hard time believing, accepting, that Mot’s death was part of it all. It certainly had giving him a reality check though. Since he had been growing more distant too, he was sure sometimes his mother missed the clingy Asriel that never wanted to leave her side. Now he didn’t know if she knew what he was constantly up to that she would want him at all. Not that it mattered. Not now. He just needed to get out here.

That was when he felt the familiar pluck of fur at his tail. He kicked his legs out knowing exactly who it was the moment it happened even without the voice. Shem. He always caught him at the worst of moments. Always seemed to think he just wasn’t a good or smart or something! ”Shem, stop messing around.” He growled through his teeth. He felt the crunch of the creature he had between his jaws in frustration as he spoke and knew he killed it. Great. That was not how he wanted it to go. Fine. He moved his rear end, planting his back paws back down and lifting his head and pushing his paws against the snow until finally his grey furred head emerged with a grunt.

He pushed the snow ‘accidentally’ back down into the hole covering up that he had been successful. He didn’t want to eat it, just… watch it. He really didn’t even mean to hurt it that badly. He didn’t feel bad though but he was just the tiniest bit frustrated that Shem ruined it and instead of just helping him out he just teased him. ”What are you doing here.” Asriel said wheeling around on his brother then. He didn’t notice that there was a little of the creature's blood around his lips just barely tinging his white fur.

He sorta figured his question was going to be shot back at him, but he had an honest answer of hunting. He had to distract himself somehow. Needed to find out what his purpose was. Perhaps he still should be a child, still shouldn’t care and just be playing and having fun. He thought he could do that too if he had too, but there wasn’t exactly anyone to play with. He ran into the Krypto boy and was ‘normal’ around him but this was his brother, and Asriel always knew his brother was a little different just by born nature. Asriel… well he felt he was nurtured into this. Whatever ‘this’ was.
