The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

She had always wanted to learn, but fate never deemed it right. Perhaps it had been waiting all along to give her this teacher rather than learning from Niviaq. This whole time everything had been boiling up to the point where she would finally walk off the mountains that had been her home and find herself down here so she could meet Anatola. She seemed so willing to teach Moonstone too. A perfect stranger in about every since. Perhaps it was a meeting that was watched over too. After all She could Help Ana find her footing in Moladion while Moonstone learned. It felt like such a good trade that both could benefit from.

Her lavender eyes ran too the fern following her paw as she pointed to the leafy plant. Memorizing as best she could what it looked like and apparently what it could do. SHe said it could be used for birthing, but it was used for stomach problems, eager to get a little more Moonstone queried, ”Just like a stomach ache? Or for nausea?” Maybe both for all she knew, that was why she wanted to know, to learn and perhaps it was abit strange for Ana, but for Moonstone age didn’t really matter. Even the oldest wolves could still learn new things. Perhaps slower, and less, but they still could if they chose too. Her size she knew was daunting to many, but she knew also she could use that to her advantage out here. Never for anything bad, but to help others, like wolfess here.

As she offered she waited with a childish excitement, her breath held until Ana said that it would work out for her. She could have danced on the spot! Though the last part was a little more difficult. I mean of course Spirane was safe, but she looked at Ana’s three legs and wondered if the mountains would be good for her. Instead she thought to get more information to see more what Ana would like. ”Anywhere with me around!” She says a bit playfully grin on her maw before reigning in her more playful nature. ”Would you prefer to stay in the freelands? Or go to a pack? I mean I know lots of wolves who manage to make a living out here. It’s just a matter of what you want exactly.” She offered, really if this wolfess was going to teach her Moonstone was going to do whatever she could to make her the happiest while doing so. She already felt she owed Ana so much even though they just met. Just wait until she tells Alistair!
