During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

we can't all be cheerful

My small frame moved through the woods, white paw after white paw, my plume held high. Weaving through the trees, the shore behind me. I'd chosen the lake path to take to get to this place. Munashii Gekko. The pack I hoped to claim. I'd met a few wolves on my journey to claim a pack once again. I hoped some of them would join me; I also hoped others I hadn't met yet would join me. The edge of my fur brushed one of the trees as I continued to walk deeper and deeper into this territory of my choosing. I got closer to what looked like a clearing of the sort, coming to a halt at the edge of it; I lifted my maw to the hair.

Taking a deep breath, smelling the air around me, I took step after step. Being aware of my surroundings as I made my way to the center of the clearing I spun around once, slowly. Looking around me for other wolves or anything really. When I didn't see anyone, I sat, wrapping my plume closed to me. Ears moving back and fourth, listening and smelling the air as I sat there for what seemed like forever.

I finally lifted my nose to the sky, taking another deep breath and letting out a noise. A howl. Calling to those in the area of this territory. And if it could be heard elsewhere, so be it. I wanted others to come, I wanted a pack that flourished. When my howl was over, I resumed my first position, listening for sounds around me and looking straight ahead. Straightening my back out so I sat as tall as I could, trying to look bigger even though I was smaller than a lot of wolves because of my heritage. That didn't make me any less though. Now to just wait for others to show
