I agree that it was a great tribute to a classic spoof. Some of the clues were very clever, and the depiction of the trees was really neat.
I certainly remember watching the programme, though it might have been from a later repeat. I was 12+ at the time and our household didn't have a television then, a parental decision for which I shall be eternally grateful, even if I couldn't discuss with my schoolmatews the previous night's episode of Quatermass, or whatever.
