Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

The male made no further moves to display any aggression, which helped to put Tauriel at least a little bit at ease. She still stood defensively, but she drew a step closer to him as he spoke once more. His speech patterns were somewhat cryptic, hard to decipher at first. Referring to himself in the third person didn't help matters, but when Tauriel became more receptive to listening to what he had to say rather than assuming the worst about him, she realized that while his words weren't always completely logical, they also weren't entirely nonsensical. Perhaps she had just come across him at a rather inopportune time. Ears perked forward, though her brows remained lowered, still somewhat off put by the entire situation.

As he looked away from her, off into the woods, her gaze followed, searching for whatever 'something else' he might be referring to. Of course he hadn't been being literal, and she realized that after a moment of searching the peripheral woodland. His sigh caused an ear to cock back towards him, and her head turned when he mused over the fact that she likely found him to be crazy and unpleasant. "I never said that," she quickly countered, coming to realize that her actions had been a bit over the top. She had jumped to her own conclusions about this wolf quickly - life as a loner teaching her that to keep herself alive it was better to react first and ask questions later. She should have simply turned and left him be instead of lashing out at him with her mother's fiery tongue. Only then did she realize her hackles were still at full mast, and she did her best to casually shake them out to lay sleek once more.

Another step brought her slightly closer to him. She was still wary, still intent on keeping herself safe, but feeling a bit bad about how she had spoken to him before. Her head cocked ever so slightly to the side at his mumbled words. "What have you seen?" she asked, though she wasn't sure she really had any right to be asking him such a thing after the way she'd reacted to him before.
