The OOC board is, well, multi-purpose! Members can post freely here and the majority of site-related content will be posted here as 'announcements,' while general chatting goodness is encouraged to take place over on our Discord server.

Plot-trackers and to-do lists can also be posted here. Events such as "Quarterly Highlight" nominations and voting, site-wide plots, Casanova nominations and site-wide changes (such as a rule update) will also be posted here. You may use the 'key' below to colour-code your posts!

With the start of a new in game year we figured it was time to introduce a few new things to Lunar Children!

Weather and Prey Abundance!
Weather will be rolled every season! Everyone always seemed to enjoy past weather disasters so that they may add to their characters posting and threads, so now on a random chance disasters can happen more often than in the past as well as other weather phenomenon that can be addressed in threads and posts! We decided to implement this because weather can be unpredictable and uncontrollable. If you wish to know more about how the rolls are done you can check out the map/weather report on Emerge under history and click the link to see how they are done seasonally. This strickly can be used just as a writing point if you wish and if an area has bad weather that simply means it has it more so than normal. Example being just because its more stormy/rainy than normal doesn't mean it is happening every day. There can still be perfectly normal nice days for your threads if you wish!

When Disastrous weather such as bad droughts, tornados etc. happen we will post in the land announcing the extreme weather and the tolls it might have on the lands. Sometimes in your thread during these disasters Fate may decide to give the weather a turn, but only in lands where there are cases of Extreme weather. Otherwise like in the past we only ask that they are considered in your post but they do not have to have any large effects on your characters if you do not wish so.

Prey also will be rolled in a similar fashion though only in Spring and Fall. It is much more straightforward being that it is simply stating how much prey can be found in that region for the time.

New Free Land and Pack
You all may have noticed the north has now opened up and in a big way. A new free land is here to explore! Lumira Tundra is the largest and is the last land before crossing into outside Moladion Territory. It is a huge expanse that can have many different features and even has a beach! Auroras that are commonly seen there are what has given it its name, as it�s clearly colder temperatures. This land is now open in Roam for anyone to explore!

Liorum is the new Taiga Pack. Unlike Lumira Tundra though this pack is not currently open for claiming or posting. While the territory is on the map, like in the past with Taviora and Asteraia before they were opened, it won�t be opened until members and staff feel the other packs are active and thriving enough to support a seventh packland. More information regarding Liorum will come at a time when it may be opened! So continue loving the lands we have!

Anything Goes Board/Posting Workshop
A while ago members suggested an �Anything goes� like board. This board is now in combination with the posting workshop under Convene and Posting Tools. Here as the board states its �anything goes� you may thread whatever and whoever you�d like but we only ask that you do not carry over what happens there to LC. This board is simply there to throw ideas around and have a little fun! While at the same time if you need you can get some help growing your posting muse and develop the mentality of your characters on the side a bit!
