Hypothetical Handicapping Question

As we sit here on what is likely the Eve of Annihilation, I would like to get some opinions on a somewhat bizarre, yet relevant IMO, theoretical handicapping scenario.

Here it is:

Do you think that it is possible for a bettor to win at Miami with no other hcap info other than what is shown in the program?

This bettor would have NO prior knowledge of the players, either through study or observation.

He would have no access to a database or any other past performance info, except what he sees in his program. In fact, if the the previous day's results are in the program, we will tear that page out.

OTOH, this does NOT preclude the possibility that our bettor has his own software - including a game simulator - that might attempt to decode each game's stats.

Finally, by "win", I mean even a figure as tiny as 1%.

After all, he is facing a tough take-out and unbearably small pools.

Well ... let's see some opinions.
