Lately I had heard rumors of TORNADOES to the north and the plains afforded me ample view of said happenings. Asteraia stretched on endlessly - or I should say the plains for there was a certain point a wolf had to say, okay, here is where we end. Still, I had lingered to the north for a vast number of days now in wonder. There was a slight hill that I had become accustomed to which now boasted flattened grasses from where I laid so frequently to stare into the reaches of the tundra. I couldn't really tell distinct details, of course, but I was more curious by the way the storms roiled so viciously in the distant sky and I even saw one of those THINGS form and touch ground.
It had left me breathless with wonder but also quivering in fear. It seemed, for a time, that it would come our way, but it hadn't and we never even really caught the tail end of the storms. I was on edge, my teeth snapping together as I meandered away from there because I was wondering if I could talk Halcyon into going with me to take a closer look. Because, you know, I hadn't already been into enough trouble in my life right?
That is when I spy a somewhat familiar figure zigging and zagging and snapping at the air before she begins screaming at the ground. My ears flick forward as I grin broadly, chuckling, and then I dash towards her. "YEAH! YOU GET OUT HERE NOW, YOU PUNK! DIDN'T YOU HEAR HER?" I slid to a stop on the opposite side of the rabbit hole (oh! I guess she was trying to hunt!), and I stuck my snout down in it before inhaling. A bunch of dirt clogs up my throat and I jerk back, hacking and coughing to get it out while passing a foreleg across my snout indignantly. "HEY! That little bastard," I growled, as if the rabbit had done it.
Not like Undyne was gonna know anyways, right?
My eyes snap up to hers, noting the sour look on her face and the way she seemed to squint a bit. "How's your eye?" I am rather blunt at times but my voice is friendly and somewhat soft. She had earned my loyalty as a friend as a pup but it was cemented by her protection of Lazarus.
