Matchedash today

I went back to the Matchedash heronry today, Thursday May 4th, to see if the Snowy Egret might still be around but this bird has flown. Got a nice look at my first Scarlet Tanager of the spring though. Over in the Thiffault cell the ground in the northwest corner of the trail is covered in what I believe is a garden escape, Lungwort, possibly Pulmonaria officinalis. I don't see much on the net about this being a particularly aggressive invasive species, though it is certainly widespread here. What do people know about it? IMG_5539 by Ken MacDonald, on Flickr
