I am very aware of your opinion on dogs Dave. Did you see any dogs eating the eggs? I am out in the trails every day and not seeing dogs eating ground nesting bird eggs. In fact, egg-sucking dogs are rare and not something we wanted on the farm. There is this common false belief that dogs hunt out and eat bird eggs. But this is not the first time that you and I have had different opinion on a subject. I would just like to see the proof of dogs going off the trail and eating bird eggs now that you have brought up the subject. Foxes and coyote would find these nest long before dogs that are well fed. Replies:
