...it can be confused with ‘premeditated’.
I really could not help but laugh at her! She was so oblivious to an intruder in her territory it was literally laughable! So much for protection. So much for guards. So much for being on your own toes. So much for being an ‘almighty queen.’ My smirk in hr face is enough I need not speak words in any language! I was never going to let her live this down!
Ha! Right.
Through the laughter my unique accent rang true, clearly indicating I could slip into all sorts of languages she would not understand.
Just try to imprison me. Half of Tavi would be at your doorstep. I an feel my lips stretch, my grin growing wider with every heartbeat.
Not like you could catch me anyway! To prove a point I twinkle my toes to bring myself juuust out of her reach. Scathing looks and snarly voices, though not becoming for such a ‘regal’ face, I can handle. I did not really want her actually hitting me. Being a prince and a princess-- queen-- would not allow for such things! So instead I contented myself with sticking my tongue out at her and waggling it around with a few shakes of my head.
It takes some considerable effort to contain my mirth. Nothing will wipe the smile from my lips. I glare at her and plop my rump. Head high, I clearly refuse to move. A stubborn streak that manifests differently in me than in my family. I think not! The deal was you bring me a prairie dog. Not ‘come help me get a prairie dog.’ I watch her prance about, knowing full well I was doing the exact same thing just seconds before. Instead of give her the credit of my attention, I look aimlessly around, feigning disinterest. Really, this was more fun than I’ve had in awhile! I should invade Asteraia more often.
