More players signing on the play in CT?

As of now, our current roster to play in Connecticut includes

Scott King

On the cuff...

Eric L

It appears that Thomas is now coming and 3 additional players are now looking to finalize their trip. Former Pro star Ricky and former national amateur champion Brodie will be making the decision to come shortly. Thomas found some cheap $54 flights out of Orlando and that is making the difference for Ricky and himself, while Brodie is waiting on his employer Majestic to announce the June corporate meeting schedule. Anything that is not that first weekend of June, and he is in.

The NJAA could really use Ricky and Brodie to fill in for the missing Rocco and Belota, who will be playing at Ft. Pierce Jai-alai for the month on June.

One more player is checking his plans to see if he can come and that is former Vanderbilt football star Eric L. While we're not holding our breath (!), it would be nice if he can make it. The tournament and experience of playing on a true amateur court is unlike any other.

The NJAA is looking at another tournament meeting in early November.

The NJAA has not heard from Julio at all, so we assume he is not coming this year. He did play on the regular Sunday night card last night, but NJAA directors were not there to discuss it with him.
