Amari focused on the shadow like wolf, his words full of concern.
It takes a lot more than that to hurt me, sweetheart," he stated. She clenched her jaws to stifle a laugh or snort for a second. Taking a deep breath she nodded slightly "I suppose it would take more than being trampled to hurt you." she said teasingly. Are you sure that you're okay?" he asked her. Her fur growing hotter with embarrassment. If she had hurt herself because of this wolf, it would be her fault. Her heart had been pounding in her ears up until now, embarrassment and shock had made it hard to distinguish if she was hurt. Taking a second to calm down a bit more she came to the conclusion that she wasn't hurt. "I don't think I'm hurt. Maybe my pride a bit.. But physically I'm okay." she stated softly.

As the shadow figure took a step forward towards her she brought her ears back. He didn't seem like the type that would harm her, even though their first interactions after her fall were forced out of shock. As the shadow figure lowered himself to his haunches she shifted on her paws He's worried about first impressions? she thought to herself. Caught off guard by his next statement she couldn't help but laugh. "I'm sorry for laughing.. It's just a bit funny that essentially I trampled over you, and then you introduce yourself. she said trying to calm her laughter. Taking a few deep breaths to calm her laughter she lowered herself to her haunches wrapping her tail over her paws. "I uh..." she said softly. She wasn't quite used to introductions. Her sister usually introduced the two of them, so she had never actually had to do it herself. "It's nice to meet you, Lucian. she said softly. Her tone wavering for a second. She had never really been nervous around others before, but Lucian would be one of the first she had met on her own.

My name? she asked softly. Introductions are not my thing... she thought to herself awkwardly. "My name is Amari.." she said in a hushed tone. She had never been one to be shy around others, but the lack of her outgoing and slightly naive sister who introduced them to just about anyone with ears was a big difference. Clearing her throat again, trying to calm her nerves she sighed "I don't have a horrid impression of you.. It's just I'm not very good around others without my sister... she explained. She didn't want to seem like she was brushing him off or anything, he seemed like a nice wolf. "I hope my horrible social skills haven't scared you off.." she said jokingly.
