The process was long and hard, harder than her first litter of pups, but then again, she'd been a lot younger with them as well, making this so much harder because of her age, she kenw that. She stretched her neck slightly, craning to see them better as she cleaned them. Her yin and yang. He was so much like his father, his color a bit lighter, more of a pale gold. And he didn't have the face marking. Sekera had a feeling that he'd be a lot like his father, and that was a good thing. She knew Panzer would do the best he could to raise them. She just hoped she'd be there for the most of it. This labor had really brought into focus on how weak she really was. The adrenaline from the birth was still coursing through her veins, and she felt okay, in pain, yes, but okay. She could feel her head getting lighter, dizzy almost.
It was then that she heard his voice, and she turned her weary eyes back to him, a sleepy, proud smile slipping across her face. She grinned at the way he bounced around like a little pup. She chuckled softly. "Come, meet your son and daughter." She spoke softly, her eyes shining as she grinned from him to their pups. Their little white boy, and his greyed sister. She was still thinking of what they could call them, and what their personalities would grow to be as they got older. All the what ifs and maybe's were swiriling in her mind. She couldm't help but wonder what was going to happen in the future, but for now, She'd live in the here and now, and make the best of what she had.
Her family. She knew with every fiber of her being, this would be all she'd focus on until she passed. Her kids, Panzer. They would be her life. However long she had left, she'd devote everything to them. But there was that nagging feeling in the back of her mind, always wondering how much longer she'd have. She was 18. So old...yet, there was a spark within her heart that was burning from the joy of her children, from Panzer. Whether that meant it would let her live longer, that was another unsure part of her. She needed to find out how to live the rest of this to the fullest, and hopefully, it'd be a few years until she actually went away for good.
She shook her head, ignorign that feeling, blinking rapidly as she looked from the two little wriggling pups, back to Panzer. She shifted, the pain fading some, but it was lingering longer than she had remembered with her first litter. She made enough room for him to lay with them should he wish. She wasn't sure what was going through his mind right now. She wondered how he felt to be a first time father. Part of her felt like their girl might get him wrapped around her finger. But, we'll see won't we? "What should we name them!?" She asked, reaching out and pressing her nose against his cheek softly.
