- Zelda -

She had been hurrying towards the end of the hunt. It seemed like it hadn’t taken long before she heard the calls. Things had either gone very good, or very bad… she couldn’t be sure to which just yet. Her slender form went running across the land, weaving around the trees towards where she could only assume the hunt taken place. She had been pretty far off, even when she heard the sharp cry for help from Tithe. Fear struck her hard in the chest, was it not over? Was he greatly wounded or someone else? Her heart pounded in her chest and she only just got close enough to the area when she heard the yelling of a strange woman exclaiming she had done nothing wrong. Zelda slowed placing her bag of herbs upon the ground that she had been carrying with her to treat the wounds of her packmates, but the scene she found was not what she had expected.

There were wolves all around and two of them, three if she counted the stranger were not ones involved in the hunt. Thankfully she had come upon the scene with Starfall standing over some strange female, and Teza saying what had occurred. It sounded like Tithe was attacked. She stood silently observing, not sure that anyone had noticed her just yet. Her eyes went to Dexter to Tithe, both had some pretty bad injuries, from the hunt for this event she wasn’t sure just yet. She moved forward, touching her shoulder to Tithe’s then Dexter’s giving him a look to let him know not to leave just yet. She wanted nothing more than to help them with their wounds right now, the scent of blood heavy upon each of them, but she had to deal with whatever was going on first.

"Are you going to run?” Zelda said stopping before the face of the woman. She looked unharmed but based on what she had heard she had jumped Tithe, and Zelda knew Tithe’s character, honor, too much to think he would ever attack someone with no reason. His son was right, he would never hurt someone first, but he would defend himself and others to the bitter end if he had too. She wasn’t even sure if she should trust the woman’s words, even if she said she wouldn’t run, but she trusted Starfall and the four large males here to keep her from going too far if she had.

"I am Zelda, Guardian of Taviora, its leader. Who are you? Why did you come to Taviora?” Her voice was stern, but not unkind, her pose spoke everything of being pretty much neutral. She wasn’t angry, not yet at least, though she couldn’t lie there was a protective edge abou ther. After all this wolfess had been accused of attacking one of her members, not to mention such a good wolf in her opinion. Still she wanted to know why this had happened.

but legends endure.
