Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Inanna speaks again, and her words cause Talien to pause. It was not so much that her words are overly harsh, or that her tone of voice is threatening... but instead rather matter of fact. It was as though unknowingly, Talien had walked into some sort of battle of wills with the snowy white female, each eyeing the other with caution and yet equally unwilling to back down from a potential challenge.

A single raven tipped dial flickers cautiously as a forced smile curves across her blackened lips as a deep throated chuckle rumbles from the depths of her breast. "I see...." she murmurs, her soft words barely audible above the warm breeze. She turns her icy silver blue eyes from Inanna now and instead lets her gaze travel over the snow ladened fields. Winter was quickly coming to a close. Even now, the bravest of early spring flowers peaked from beneath the patches of green grass that managed to grow in the soggy grounds. Soon, even the most apt of hunters would find passing through without a trace a nearly impossible task with so much melting snow and ice soaking through the ground. It was the less beautiful moments of spring... a time when her glorious silver white coat would become tarnished with dark mud despite her best efforts to remain clean. However, that was a task that seemed almost impossible now, especially with the pups who continued to swell her belly. They move now, reminding her that they indeed would be coming soon and that she needed to return to Taviora before the time grew too close for comfort.

Inanna speaks again, and this time she is drawn from her thoughts, her fierce gaze turning back to the pale woman as she speaks, her words formed as a question when in truth, even she could understand the resolve. Her strangely unmatched eyes fall to the swell in Talien's stomach and this time, the lithe silverling cannot help but to offer her a gentle knowing smile. "I am..." she breathes, her words gentle and tender as she lets a heavy sigh echo from her lungs, as she turns to let her gaze settle fully upon the ocean beauty. "but I am not..." she finishes, pausing a moment to let her words settle between them, doing her best to form her words in order to explain her heart.

"The fates may have recognized us as one... but my heart... our heart... does not recognize one another as anything more than that." she continues, tilting her pretty little head towards the woman now, a genuine friendly smile upon her lips. "His heart, like my own, belongs to another.... it is something that I can assure you neither of us would ever wish to fight, no matter what the fates may say." she continues, her silver plume thumping slowly against the wet snows beneath them. "I can sense him.." she continues, her piercing silver blue gaze focusing upon the mismatched eyes of the other woman, waiting curiously for her reaction, wondering if it was something shared by other fated pairs or if it was simply a function of her own imprint with Thor. ".. when I am alone... when my thoughts or dreams wander... I can sense his happiness, as I am sure he can sense my own. We live separate lives but yet are somehow intertwined by a single thread. He is happiest in the life he lives now, the one he shares with you. As I am with Dexter whether his heart will ever belong to me or not... the forests are and always will be my home as the oceans call to him... Perhaps it is a multitude of things, many reasons and yet all of them are the same... fates may have called our souls... but our hearts lead us on different paths and I have always followed my heart.... don't you?" she asks, her smile knowing. Yes, she knew that answer.... Just as Inanna wore the scent of her imprint like a cloak, she too reveled in the mingling of her own scent with Dexter's, the thrill it gave to her. It was a fluttering of her heart and the rapid beat in her chest that even the fates could not deny. However fleeting, however fickle, her heart, remained far from here, in the forests where the cream and brown wolf with his jade green eyes roamed..
