but one more thing Posted on 5/17/2017 at 06:40:30 PM by You're on the right track
Nation-state hacking vs hacktivist hacking.
I'm the one that's been posting under Seth Rich denying the Russian hacking of the DNC but they probably did hack them as well. The difference however . . .
When a nation-state hacks they're usually using systems and employees which can cost billions of dollars and how they utilize that information is much more insidious from help with policy making through knowing your adversaries private views to out and out blackmail type activities from knowing their personal downfalls.
A nation-state like Russia or US won't usually just go disclosing shit, they'll wait for the perfect time to utilize it more discretely and surgically to help their policy implementation while also protecting their own sources and methods.
Hacktivists like wikileaks have the sole intention of embarrassing governments and organizations so they'll put the shit out into the public almost immediately.
Bottom line, the stuff that wikileaks got probably came from Seth Rich who ripped it right from his email, leaving no trace on the DNC servers because he didn't technically have to steal it.
Meanwhile the forensic investigation probably uncovered some Russian intrusion because they're in there as well.
What's still missing? A Trump-Russia connection, because it doesn't exist. Replies:
