My words seem to draw her out of her world, back to reality and now I can say I am fairly pleased with the progress I have made here. It was time to wrap up though. I was happy that she seemed excited about her rank, and what she would be doing and what, together, what we might be able to do come Spring. I will ponder that for the rest of winter, but my tail waves good naturedly before I reply, ”That sounds like a plan then. Perhaps late spring or early summer so that pups might enjoy the time, I will start preparations Diveen in Spring.” I am sure after my meeting with Orion that he is and would be quite favorable to a plan like that. Plus since they shared a border it would be very easy for both Diveen wolves and Asteraia wolves to be there and watch over the little event. It would be a good time for our packs to mingle as well.
Though I can’t leave before prodding my final question out there. I really do need to know what she thinks and honestly it seems as though she’s hardly interested in Hal romantically. She seems to know quite well where her place is in that relationship. Basically, no worries to Aster. I feel a little bad knowing that Solstice so innocently understand their relationship, even genuinely seems excited about pups they may have in future then Aster is… well she’s Aster. To be expected I suppose. ”Well I actually will be seeing lady Aster soon. Perhaps I will mention you would like to meet with her so that she may seek you out.” I say lightly meaning it. Aster needed to relax. While I have a feeling that Halcyon surely feels a draw to Solstice his heart does belong to Aster and Aster alone.
With that though I know I can take my leave. ”I better get going. I will let you know soon as I hear back from Orion regarding any play dates between our packs. Take care of yourself.” I say dipping my head to her before loping off through the snows of Asteraia. Now I just had to find Aster and report to her and then everything should be fine for the three of them. Least I hoped so. I just hoped this would bring a little peace to our lady’s mind at the very least.
