Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Matianak looked between her father and sister with a grin. This was perfect to do what was necessary, and keep her father in better spirits. Granted the death of their mother was still quite fresh, this would be the right thing to do. Her gray tail swayed back and forth, quite pleased her idea was approved of. They were still quite young, but nor were they pups anymore. They... She could be useful, would be useful.

The young female clung to her father's words. Summer. The word echoed in her mind. Then after that, she could deal with her own desires, be her father's favorite. She yearned to please him, though she knew not to be overly zealous, lest someone interfere with her desires.

She thought to ask a question, but thought better of it. The timeframe was all she really needed for now. Her pale gaze shifted fully to Umbra. "Perhaps we can practice, dear sister, on a poor soul in the free lands to prepare for this undertaking," she suggested. For now, she would work with Umbra. She could not afford to have her sister against her. Not yet at least. Even so, it was a genuine suggestion. And all for the Shade.
