Alistair continued to gaze at her, eyes of stark white slipping down to her lips as she began to speak. 'I think I will visit our sister soon as I have heard we now have a niece and nephews!' He gave her a curious, almost amused look at the statement. "I had not ever thought that Ankh would settle down." There was the slightest hint of humor in his voice, and for what it was worth, being with his sister had made him feel freer than he had in a very long time. For once he was not worried about his work (though that would come later), for once he felt as though he could simply exist comfortably for a time without something specific on his mind. He had come here to work, and yet he was almost making more progress without the focus being on it, perhaps not towards finding the perpetrator- but towards reviewing himself.
'Thor has returned . . . He has been working closely with Eden I think.' The statement piqued his interest, however. Samia seemed rather oblivious to the idea that not everyone might have the best interests at heart, and yet he did not think her naive for it, but simply wished to protect that innocence as long as he could. At her invitation he smiled again, his tail resuming its soft wave. "I would love to come, Samia. I have not seen many of our siblings in a long while. Alexander is still within Taviora, protecting Lady Zelda with his group. I am not sure if you have ever met them- Herschel, Constantine, and Vladimir." He is thinking out loud now, considering why exactly it was that his brother and him lived within the same pack and rarely exchanged words. Perhaps it was time to rethink the bond of family and what it meant. Natu would have wanted it, would have wanted them to all be close, and perhaps the last time they had all truly been together was when she had died.
He was pulled out of his thoughts when she danced away, and he took after her at a swift trot, weaving through the terrain of Glorall, and perhaps now he could see why wolves who were not like Eden resided here. It was rather beautiful. His heart seemed to sink and rise upon the sight of their parent's old den, and again he was brought back to the day that they had played on the sands here. Perhaps he had isolated himself too much, perhaps he lived too much in his own head and in his work. Alistair looked towards Samia when she spoke again, 'I think we shall have a new sister in law soon!' He chuckled, a harsh, barking sort of noise, and shook his head.
"Are you playing matchmaker, dear sister? Or are you letting nature run its course?" He teased her gently, as he could certainly see her sweet face encouraging her brother to talk to certain girls. All for the sake of his happiness- he did not think there was a mean or selfish bone in her body. "I found my imprint. A while ago. I hadn't told anybody." Alistair said suddenly, and the words surprised him. He still felt her tug strongly but selfishly tried to ignore it in favor of other things. Perhaps he was nervous, frightened that she might die and leave him. He wasn't sure where the fear came from. "Her name is Moonstone." He finished, still wondering why he had chosen to tell her. Perhaps it had been spurred on by her talk of family and of loved ones, or perhaps it had secretly been weighing on him as he chose to focus his attentions on other things.
