Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

EREBOS
we're all devoid believing we're fallen angels when really we're all just empty vessels

It was probably eerie how he simply watched her passively. His icy blue gaze piercing with his surrounding dark coat. What was more was how he didn’t look away from her eyes, and even then with his stare he seemed to blink deliberately and slowly versus the natural nature of where it looked.. Well normal. Erebos was far from, even as a child he was an odd one, truly taking from his mother in many ways he was not much of his father’s child like it seemed his other siblings were. Perhaps it was that that made his father avoid him, he didn’t communicate with him as much as he thought his siblings did. However then again, it could be the way he smelled, the way he simply was that did that on its own and to no other reason. Erebos didn’t know, nor did he honestly care. He made his living here as a simple member if that was all he could do, but today he was finding himself doing much more.

He doesn’t mind the wrinkle of her nose, such a normal thing for him to see, instead he simply focuses on her words, how energetic she was as she started her business. She even gave her name just as much so, explaining that she was from Iromar, to which he knew, before she launched into saying there was disturbing things going on. She didn’t leave room for him to say anything, and clearly she wanted to talk so he let her. Slowly he settled himself down on his haunches giving his head a slow tilt though his eyes didn’t leave the girl for a moment as she looked down at the dead things at his paws before she launched into what these things would be.

Moor monsters. That was what she was here to explain. Big strange blobby creatures that were not the strange large reptiles with teeth. It was why Erebos never strayed too close to the moors, he was a fish eater, they were big things with teeth, he didn’t want to become meal of those things. That was how it worked right? After all he spent a lot of time in the rivers and near the ocean shores of Glorall hunting for his meals. Fish was the soul food of Erebos’ choice. After all the rest of the things generally considered as ‘prey’ to wolves were his friends and you did not eat friends. Fish were not good friends so they were okay to eat… still these blob monsters didn’t sound any better than those gators.

”You seem excited to have such monstrous things in Moors. It is sounding like it is a problem, but not your problem, not Glorall’s problem either. Erebos has seen no such thing here, Erebos around water often. Father Eden will not be of any help to Moor wolves in this.” His voice is low and drawling as he explained. After all she seemed so… happy. He was not sure why she was happy to have big-fanged-blob monsters in her pack, but that was a her problem not a his problem. All of this sounded like not his problem.
