During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

then we'll lie, cheat, steal and murder everything
name - demon - of age - no home - no heart
we have dark, tarred souls underneath

It was not long after the demon’s entrance that another shaded lupine appeared. Lucian found his crimson hues directed away from the Queen in order to meet the silhouette of the arrival. The brute carried an opposite form of Lucian, who was tall yet carried a heavy build to himself. He shifted oddly on his stilts as he approached the already gathered pair. But who was to blame him? It was, after all, an unusual encounter. The trio were perfect strangers to one another.

The knight had arisen and taken a step back to allow the lad more space. And as he neared them, Lucian could not deny that the first thing to capture his attention during his quick glance were the scars that littered the younger male’s form; an interest immediately surfaced regarding what had been the cause of them. Despite his prior outburst, Lucian was not at all a conversationalist, and found himself holding his tongue after his previous words. In fact, he was relieved that Milo was able to greet the boy and introduce herself so effortlessly amidst their awkward silence. “For now, it might just be us but whoever so wishes to join shall be allowed as long as they follow what rules, which include you two. But for now... I am Milo.”

“I’m Lucian,” he repeated once more for the lanky boy who stood before him, then shifted his red orbs to meet the Queen's gray gaze. For the most part, Lucian kept his silence to allow the lad a chance to speak, but once there was an end to the boy’s word, his thick voice would emerge again. “Tell me what is to be done, and I will ensure that it is,” he said intently.

"if you don't want to dwell in the light, then dwell in the shadows with me."
