She seemed so attached to that pearl already and it warmed his heart to know that he gave her something to cherish so much. Nothing could compare to how she herself set in his priorities of things to cherish though. She would forever be his most adored possession. And now she was officially his. He couldn't wrap his mind completely around the idea yet. The fact that she had said yes without hesitation blew him away. Did he rank that much more above Rufus in her thoughts and heart? Not that he was comparing or anything. No, he totally was but he would never admit it. He had wanted her from the get go and now that he had won, it all seemed so surreal. He had a mate now, just like that. His thoughts went to Samia. She would be ecstatic, he was sure. She would love the fact that she had another sister and maybe they could grow to be friends and then Inanna would have almost her own family to be a part of. More than that, she would always have him. He was assured of that and he wouldn't stop reassuring her either. She looked like she was about to answer and tell him that she did but instead she was met with him pouncing on her, assaulting her with licks and nuzzles. However he could touch her, he did, all to surround her with his scent while enveloping himself in her own. She was his and he was hers, always. He would make sure she never regretted it either. She returned his gestures with her own. He could feel her tongue and her teeth in several places as they rolled around in the sand. He laughed and barked in joy. He could howl his ecstacy to the sun at this point. He didn't care who heard! Finally he let her roll back to her feet, both of them covered in sand and slobber at this point but he could care less. He shook out the sand and grinned at her boyishly, his eyes glittering with happiness. He noted the grin on her face though and snorted, brows furrowed in suspicion. He knew when she was up to something. She moved as if about to dare him to chase her but then she pounced back to the pearl and paused. As her face grew thoughtful, his brows furrowed and he tilted his head, puzzlement in his expression as he waited patiently for her to voice her thoughts. He only hoped she wasn't always feeling doubt for what she had said. Then she asked her question and he beamed at her, his tail wagging joyously as he moved up close to her and gently brushed himself down her side, his voice soft and loving. "Samia will adore you, love. She's into herbs and healing too so I'm sure you will have plenty in common." He hated hearing that nervous tremor in her voice. Her unshakable confidence was always there but now he would be her anchor and her rock whenever she needed it and he was sure Samia would have no qualms about the new addition to their family. He knew she had been alone a lot growing up but that was all about to change and he hoped she was looking forward to having a family to be a part of now.
