We've been working on developing the religion section in V14 and so far it looks pretty awesome, I have to say. A huge thanks to Fennic and Edel in particular who have been helping to develop this.
We seem pretty secure on a lot of the stuff for the original fairies now, so we're looking for people to expand on specific sections of the religion page. As thanks for people who offer any help on these sections, we'll be giving them with doubloons. If you'd prefer something else in exchange for your help, please ask.
The deadline for all of these will be the version switchover, which hasn't yet got a date set, but we have a tentative window at the end of July - so there's plenty of time. :)
Here's the stuff which we could do with some expansion on.
Create a myth: 1,000$
Click here for support on producing a myth. Rather than make this another competition, we're offering a flat rate of 1,000$ for each myth produced. Song's myth is a great example and is already up on the new religion section.
All myths written will be included on the new site. Myths may be edited for SPAG and/or clarity.
Create a polytheistic religion: 1,000$
Can be gentle, pagan-style, and/or extremist.
There's a great deal of flexibility with creating polytheistic religions. You can include as many or as few of the main deities as you want plus demigods/immortal ones as minor deities, and you can play around with the roles and prominence of those deities.
Submissions should be detailed enough that someone could comfortably create a character within your religion.
As many polytheistic religions as possible will be included on the new site. They may be edited for SPAG and/or clarity, or if any of the staff want to develop any of the ideas.
Create a minor sect of a monotheistic deity religion: 700$
Can be extremist or just a break-away sect.
These sects/cults are only small and are not part of the major monotheistic religions (e.g. Auran, Mallosian, Rhaegaran etc). As above, we're looking for submissions to be detailed enough that someone could comfortably create a character within this religion.
I'm also specifically looking for someone who could help me create/develop an extremist sect amongst the Aurans.

Create a fairy version of a human church: 400$
E.g. - see the fairy versions of Christian churches we currently already have.
As above, needs to be enough detail for someone to create a character within the religion.
These can be fairy versions of the 6 major human religions, e.g. Islam and Judaism, or they could be fairy versions of minor/extinct/pagan human religions like Satanists or the Ancient Greeks, etc. The fairy version of the human religion doesn't need to be as detailed as some of the above religions, since you already have a base to work on, but it shouldn't be identical to the human version and needs to have its own twist.
Develop the cult of Manekht: 500$
Looking for one person to help us develop the cult of Manekht to make it easier for people to create Manekhtite characters. Ideas for development include methods of worship, regionality, leadership and hierarchy etc.
Create deity artwork
If you're an artist, we'd love to have pictures of the deities to feature on the new religion section! There's no set "price" here because I think artists should be able to ask for what they think is reasonable based on the amount of hours they've put in.
[Edited Note] Because I wrote this at midnight last night... Fenn & Edel, when you're done with the bits you're doing on individual deities, give us a shout and I'll drop you some doubloons for that too. :)
