Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

The warmth that came from Exodus also radiated towards Windsong, causing the she-wolf to return a genuine smile. Her tail brushed back and forth with exuberance as her little body pondered the wonder she would discover here. She could not fathom the opportunity. The wariness in her paws had finally paid off.

"Me too," she agreed with Exodus, head tilting. "To be honest, I haven't banked my hope on any thing specifically. Guess no expectations is better than setting myself up for disappointment." She chuckled, her shoulders shaking a bit with the laughter. Openly honest, but at least good-humored about her situation.

Honey-gold eyes fell downcast to her paws digging into the dirt, flexing her shoulders to push them deeper into the cool earth. She could've pranced at the ideas swimming through her brain. She had a new chance here. A new chance at friends and family, and maybe even love. While she wasn't setting every hope on those ideas, she knew there were budding possibilities there.

She glanced back up at Exodus as he continued, her heart skipping at the extension of his invitation. She gave her tail a wag, dipping her head, "Perhaps I'll tread my paws that direction some day," Windsong mused. She didn't want to bother him too much, and wasn't sure the privacy surrounding his family. Besides, there was plenty for Windsong to busy herself with here, and plenty more wolves to hassle. But Exodus, he was friend, and her first friend with that. For that, Windsong wouldn't forget him.
