Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Originally, Arturio hadn't intended on crossing into Glorall so brazenly. He couldn't deny that the closer he got, the more he felt drawn to his imprint. The snowy male wanted to learn more of her and about her life. He couldn't do that on the tundra. So, he stood there for a moment, enjoying the salty air. His ears pricked suddenly. No sound had drawn his attention, but rather an innate presence. She was close.

His emerald gaze drifted across the dunes, quick to spot Nari in stark contrast to the light sand in the setting sun's light. Arturio hesitated for a split second, reminding himself he was still in another's territory. Even with that, his being drawn to the mute wolfess was more over powering than slighting her alpha right now. He came as a guest, bearing no ill will on any of the region's residents.

He padded along the sand, crossing towards the dune Nari had chosen this day. It did not take but a few moments to reach her. "The sands here are whiter than I might have guessed," he said, though it wasn't necessary to say such, "And a perfect sunset view," the white brute added as he stood beside her, green eyes looking towards the horizon as the light slowly dipped away.
