Daenerys spoke of placement and ranks in her pack. Titles and positions. It honestly did not sit well with the sunrise and blood colored female. Forever transient and fluid, there were some things that had been solid in her pack and in her life, bit the rest were subject to change with their direction, or the interests of others. It seemed as though she had been right when she first came to the border of Spirane. This pack had been here a while, their ways old, their blood deep. Time had given them the ability to hold on, be the stones that surrounded them. Satinka lifted her nose into the air, trying to scent the wind that once blew so forcefully through her homeland. She looked to the mountains through narrowed eyes, blaming them for their protective walls and stagnancy in the air. In the past she had adapted to different, in time she felt as though she would be able to adapt to this as well. Though the concept of the world here seemed so vastly different from her way of a previous life. She growled to herself. Learn and change, or leave and live. It was the way of her life.
