I know what you mean Joe, Ive fished the lake many years and its not near as good as it was. I believe that there are just less fish in the lake therefore harder to locate them. Unless you can fish there several times a week or maybe retired , it will be tough to just drop in every now and then and be successful. There used to be so many fish in the lake that the casual fisherman could do very well. I think less stocking , more fishing pressure and too many freezer stuffers are to blame. There still are plenty of fish to catch though for those that have the time to put in on the lake.
