Mounting 63 394 to new engine stand.
IP: 67.45.113.169

I have an old 63 394 that I liberated from a wrecking yard several decades ago. I am just now getting around to disassembling it. I bought a new 1 ton engine stand to put it on and have a problem, I can only bolt three of the spider arms to the block, the last arm is too long to reach the trans mounting point in either of the lower sides. I could bolt to the flywheel shroud, but that would put a lot of strain on the four bolts that attach it to the block. Anybody have a viable suggestion. My other thought is drill a new mounting hole in the spider arm to the backing plate.
