At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

Sachael had been following Herchel for what seemed like forever not that she minded per say, she would follow her brother to the end of time and space if that's what she had to do, but it felt like they had been walking in circles for YEARS. She watched Herchel walk what felt like every single square foot of the entire earth, from ocean to ocean searching for Lucifer. For his master. That's what made her really mad.

Herchel had been born first, a full three excruciating hours before Sachael, and so he was the leader, he always had been. Three hours. Maybe if Sachael had just three hours and one minute on her brother, she would have his full loyalty instead of the halfhearted shit he gave her. Oh, Herchel loved her, he adored her, and he would protect her with his life, Sachael didn't doubt that. But for everything else? Herchel practically worshipped Lucifer, and it bothered her. There is nothing Sachael wouldn't do, or give up for her brother, she practically breathed for him, and that's why, when Lucifer vanished and Herchel went to find him, after corrupting that poor lass in Blossom Forest, Sachael followed. She copied his every step, his every breath, every batted eyelash, Sachael was there, she saw it. She saw how Herchel pined away for Lucifer, how with every passing second, every traveled step, how a piece of him died without Lucifer to guide him, and now, they'd been walking in circles, while the gears in Herchel's mind turned.

"What if we try to find Kershov again?" Her voice came out timid and quiet, almost afraid to suggest it, afraid that the very prospect of losing Lucifer, of giving up on him might crush the last ounce of her brothers spirit. And it very well might have. Herchel's body twitched and paused midstep, his ears flickering back, acknowledging his sister's words. And then he just… stood there.

Sachael felt like an eternity had passed by the time Herchel lowered his midnight painted limb, she had begun to wonder if his soul had just vanished from his body at the thought, and that he might never come back. But there he was, breathing, steadily before her, his head turned just staring with those tigerstone optics, the same ones that were within her own skull, and Sachels forehead wrinkled. "Herchel?"

"I heard you."

That was all he said as he stood there, staring "I know you did but-"

"I. Heard. You."

Sachaels carbon audits lowered slightly, and she shifted uncomfortably, the perfect duo rarely even disagreed, let alone argued, they were always perfectly in sync, unless of course it came to Lucifer, and now, Sachael, the brave petite warrior made herself small, she could not read her brother, she could not tell what he was thinking, or how he would react when her words finally sunk past his defenses. Sachael had no idea what her brother was thinking and it terrified her. Not because she couldn't take him on if he attacked her, or hold her own in an argument, but because she had no way to prepare, no way of knowing WHAT was coming if anything at all. Sachael finally braced herself for his wrath, she decided he would yell. He would yell until he collapsed, and then tomorrow they would keep looking, but instead, after several more long minutes, Herchel turned to face forward "Let's go."

Surprise surged through Sachael, followed by confusion. Go? Go where? Wasn't he going to yell? Were they going to find Lucifer or Kershov? "Go?..." she echoed softly, trotting forward for the first time in days to stand beside her brother, and pressed her shoulder into his calf gently. "To Kershov." Rumbled his deep reply as he started forward, stroking the top of his sister's skull with his chin, her stress was thick in the air like syrup, and Herchel could feel the tension as clearly as he could the earth below his paws "we’re practically on top of the border anyways."

And so the two wandered, past Blossoms magical borders, through the lands, for days they wandered until finally, perched on the sands of the beach, was a creature who looked exactly like the whispers. Herchel approached, Sachael at his side, and the carbon copies stared at the ice king, waiting, and watching.
