Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

There is a fury in those sharp eyes of her. She is rite strength and a massive creature at that but Blackthorne is not without his own capabilities, younger and smaller as he is. Time would fill him out but he was in peak condition for his age and clever minded at that. A bloodline of intelligence and craziness all wrapped in one bundle as he watches the interloper. She speaks and her words are garbled and strange. Beautiful, he supposes, but different. His eyes narrow slightly for why would she hide behind a different language? Something was off but he shrugs it off. What would she do? Try to murder him? It was doubtful considering the backlash she would receive and besides, Thorne was wary enough of the unstable female that he knew their dominant natures would eventually clash. It was to be expected but also anticipated. A tongue washes across his lips at her words before he grins boldly. "You are afraid?" He deliberately misinterprets her words, trying to incite her temper. "It's okay, darling, just behave," he taunts with a wink, his body shifting on his toes lest she charge him.

Then finally she says something garbled again and begins to slip past him. There is acquiescence in her demeanor but he is not fooled. A creature like her did not take well to taunts and demands and he did not expect her to behave, as he put it. In fact, he was counting on it. So when she turns in a flash he leaps to the side so that her teeth barely graze the fur on his own cheek, a calculating look on his face. Let's, play? "Let's," he says with a whispered delight, darting in swiftly to grab at her tail, intending to yank it to the side with all his might. It would be painful but not debilitating and in the end, play was not to be mauled... although a little blood never hurt one.
