Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Matianak had a less than sincere smile on her maw, but it was a smile all the same. Natiya was family after all. Though she did not seem as though she would upset her plans to rid herself of Umbra in the future, Matianak would always need to be mindful of her due to their being related. Her tail might have waved, but to her, Natiya was less than what she needed to worry over. Perhaps after her own littermate was gone, she might deal more readily with Natiya, but it was more likely Blackthorne would be more of a concern, maybe.

She scrunched her nose ever so slightly at her dear half sister's question. "Today, or everyday?" Matianak answered the question with a question. It would be easy to answer either. Today, she was simply walking the pack, plotting and planning. Oh wait, she did that everyday, she mused with a grin. "That's a silly question... And an appropriately silly answer. It's just another day at home, wondering how I might find myself in our dear leader's good graces so that I might be fully contributing to the pack. Or of ridding myself of Umbra. Take your pick," her tone seemed almost joking, though there were serious undertones, but of which was she more serious, it was hard to tell.

"This place?" She gestured with a paw as to their current location. "Clearly not enough. And yet it is part of home, but one cannot be all knowing. If we were, perhaps it would be us in ranked positions." Now that was an interesting thought. Perhaps having come across Natiya was a good thing today, it was giving her potential ideas for the future.
