She growls in reaction to being prodded by her father. She wanted to sleep, damn it, but her soft rainbow eyes were forced open in the darkness. Father obviously wanted something and he wanted it right now. Her ears lay back as her eyes open, narrowed as they adjust to the light- what little there was. She knew what was going on even if she thought that the Shade should wait until she was fully rested, but she cannot argue right now. Mat awakens as well and stretches, and Umbra skips stretching all together as she bolts up and out of the den.

She swears she can feel the way the Shade wishes to direct her. There was weakness and it needed to be pushed out of this world. Her blood began to pump and she felt her dark fur on edge. She did not exactly follow her father. She was right up there with him, her eagerness burning within despite the fact that her body wanted to initially resist and sleep more. She was indeed a growing girl- one that has been more sleek and beautiful in time.

They begin to come upon a grouping of trees. Her pale rainbow eyes gaze upon it as she follows the gaze of her father. She felt strongly towards where he goes, and felt it was right. They come to see an older female wolf, and her scent reeks of weak. Umbra pulls her head up and back in repulsion. Death might as well be knocking at this wolf’s door. Umbra felt the dark urge inside of her grow so strong she felt she was to burst with her teeth exposing in a twitch under her lips. She notices how she sleeps. There is a twitch to her, but her jugular is not immediately exposed. Well, her sister better he damn ready, because when father says Go she notices her sister does not immediately move- a shame really, but Umbra will set her up for success. Umbra lives for the Shade and ensuring that the Shade gets what it wants- more so than her own personal glory.

Umbra snaps, bolting behind the sleeping female. She positions herself so that she is parallel to the female head to tail. She then violently and suddenly attacks at the female, right where the head meets the back of the neck. She then slams her weight on top of the older female to hopefully hold her down, while Umbra’s head lifts up with her iron grip. This will leave limited movement for the older female, and also expose the neck.
