It was made clear that Sekhmet was satisfied with their encounter by the sinister smile that stretched across those black jowls. Myrria remains at her place in waiting with a patient yet stony gaze set upon the other female. The lush, dampened greenery around them contrasted brilliantly against their dark and fiery hued coats. The softened light that was once cast over the forest now began to brighten as the cloud cover cleared up, giving way to sparse sunny patches beneath the dripping branches of the trees.
A beam of light passed over Myrria as Sekhmet replied shortly, the golden tones illuminating the droplets of rain that had settled on the tips of her fur. For the first time in her young life she appeared to be heaven sent - a fallen angel. But it passed quickly and her head cocked slightly to the side at Sekhmet’s proposition. ”Hunt... What?” It was a straightforward question and she only asked to know of the girl’s preferences or if she would even divulge the truth. Myrria had a feeling that they were on the same level.
Her company spoke again, requesting information on her beliefs and what she was made of. She scoffed, her eyes trailing away to the scenery for a moment before returning to Sekhmet. ”I believe in myself. And not in some cliche way that everyone else claims to live by. I am my beginning and my own end. No one else controls that except for me,” Myrria answered with a bit too much snideness in her voice, as if the thought of believing in some god or higher being was almost insulting.
It was then that the larger female finally made the decision to be on the move and they both took off at a comfortable pace alongside one another. One ear flicks to the side as Sekhmet asks of her own self, from Myrria’s perspective she presumes. ”You are… like me but different. We are made of the same seed but planted into different ground,” she responds truthfully, although not knowing much more than just her gut feelings.
She is not sure where they are going exactly, but the distant sound of whimpering newborns catches Myrria’s attention from any conversation that was occurring. Her deep pink eyes were alight and her auds perked forward in search of the delightful noise again.
